Two events I’m bringing to the Bay Area

These are the two gatherings I’m organizing. Everything else I’m attending is already linked directly from the calendar above.

Anti-Distillation & Other Tiny Rebellions

A show-and-tell for prototypes with an attitude. Bring something playful, angry, tender, or strange that challenges authority—a tool that pushes back on a default, a prototype with a point of view, or a personal declaration disguised as software.

We’ll start with a quick Anti-Distill demo, followed by case shares and an open conversation. Keep the stack talk light: vibe coding has widened the door, and titles or engineering credentials can stay at home.

  • WhenTuesday, October 6 · 2:00–4:00 PM PT
  • WherePalo Alto · exact venue TBD
  • FormatQuick demo · participant show-and-tell · open conversation

AI-Native Design: Build with AI Agents

Design is moving from static interfaces to agent-native systems, where ideas become working, editable artifacts through collaboration with AI agents.

This small, hands-on workshop welcomes designers, developers, indie makers, product people, students, and anyone curious about AI-native creative workflows. No deep technical background is required.

Bring your laptop and an idea. You’ll use an AI coding agent to build a website, deck, prototype, or another visual artifact—and leave with something you can show.

  • WhenMonday, October 5 · 2:00–4:00 PM PT
  • WhereSoMa, San Francisco · exact venue shared with approved guests
  • FormatAI-Native Design introduction · participant intros · hands-on tutorial · Q&A · participant demos
